Introducing Our New Webinar Series: Clinical Trials 101
If you're living with a chronic condition, or have a loved one who is, medical research most likely matters a lot to you. But if the process of how new treatments reach patients feels like a black box, you're not alone.
That's why we're launching a new educational series designed to answer the most frequently asked questions about clinical trial participation in a clear, accessible way. You can join on your lunch break and leave feeling more informed about how the research process works.
Registration is now open for our first webinar on January 30 at 12 p.m. ET. We'll cover an overview of the most common terms you'll hear about medical research, what they mean, and the different types of trials that research potential new treatments.
Later this year, we'll host conversations with patients who've taken part in research, share how to evaluate your trial options, and more. As the year goes on, we plan to host webinars on increasingly complicated topics, so by the time next January rolls around, you'll feel comfortable comparing trials and understanding their results – including analyzing basic trial data yourself.
We'll broadcast the webinars live, then share recordings with those who aren't able to make it. You can also catch up any time on lessons you missed.
Stay tuned for finalized dates and agendas – and let us know if there are any topics you'd like to see covered in webinars, on our blog, or in our upcoming clinical trials knowledge repository.
