Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic lung disease that causes scarring (fibrosis) of the lungs for an unknown reason. Doctors often diagnose IPF with a CT scan of the lungs, and sometimes through a lung biopsy.
If a doctor has diagnosed you with IPF, clinical trials may be an option.
Patients must meet the following criteria:
- Must have been diagnosed with IPF by a doctor within the last three years (after 2016)
- Must be taking either OFEV® (nintedanib) or Esbriet® (pirfenidone)
- Must not be a current smoker
