London, UK and New York, NY–Sept 10th, 2015 - Following a $13.5M fundraising round led by Smedvig Capital in February, TrialReach today announced several key appointments to drive its vision of enabling patients to connect easily with clinical trials through its unique online platform.

These hires bring a wealth of expertise from various corners of the technology and health world, as TrialReach prepares to launch a smart data ­driven marketplace that will revolutionize the way patients can search for treatments under development.

Keith Lovell has joined the team as Chief Financial Officer, following a nine-year stint as CFO of Shazam during which he helped grow the company from a small startup to a global brand with a valuation of $1 billion. Keith, who brings over 20 years experience of financial and commercial management in a wide range of technology businesses, will also join the TrialReach Board of Directors.

David Currie, former Head of Investment Banking and Securities at Investec, has joined as non executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. David brings more than 20 years experience in the financial sector during which time he managed more than 100 companies in public and private markets.

Jeffrey Kasher, former VP of Clinical Innovation and Implementation at Eli Lilly and Company, joins the TrialReach Advisory Board. He rounds out the Advisory Board with deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to help advance the TrialReach mission of connecting patients to clinical trials.

These stellar appointments follow other key recent hires, including:
Tom Krohn, former Director of Clinical Open Innovation at Lilly, as Chief Development Officer.
Joyce Haas, formerly of WebMD and Wonga.com, as VP of Product.
Dean Sellis, former Chief Architect of the Patients2Trials platform, as VP of Engineering.
James Hayden, former SVP Partnerships of Certara, as VP of Sales.
Grace McElroy and Courtney Paige, both formerly of TEDMED, as Head of Partnerships and Head of Brand and Communications.
