Scrip Awards: JDRF and Antidote Collaborate to Connect Patients to Research Studies

It’s been an exciting fall here at Antidote. We announced our latest round of funding, grew our partner network to more than 210 partners, and are now finalists for two Scrip Awards. The Scrip Awards provide the industry with the opportunity to recognize its highest achievers across the drug development spectrum— from novel deals, to new drug launches, to technological breakthroughs in clinical trials.

We’re thrilled that our trial matching engine, Antidote Match, has been shortlisted for the “Best Technological Development in Clinical Trials - Patient-Focused.” What an honor given that our mission is to transform the way patients connect to research studies. We’re so grateful for the recognition that we’re on our way to achieving that mission.

And perhaps even more exciting, we are excited to share that we are finalists with JDRF for “Community Partnership of the Year.” JDRF was our first large partner, and since launch in the summer of 2016, more than 25,000 people have searched for trials through Clinical Trials Connection, powered by Antidote. They even reported that in their first month with Antidote’s tool, they had more trial searches than they had in the previous ten years combined.

We’ve also worked with JDRF to engage their community and raise awareness about clinical trials. We created this video with JDRF to capture the spirit of diabetes research, and drive interest in taking part:
